 In the future, advanced robotics has created heavy robots (“labors”) for use in a variety of functions: construction, fire-fighting, military, and more. However, though the robots are only machines, their operators are also only human – and humans sometimes turn to crime. Since a heavy labor unit can be a dangerous weapon, the police of the future are set to fight fire with fire, using advanced patrol labor units, “patlabors”. This is the story of the Second Special Vehicles Division, a motley crew of patlabor policemen and -women doing their best to fight crime and live a normal life.

Hashiba Sora has been in hospital since he fell from the school building. When he comes back to the boarding house, his childhood friend Fujimori Sunao transfers to the school. By the good office of Honjo Matsuri, who is the leader of the boarding house and their childhood friend, Sora and Sunao are assigned the same room. Souchirou Nagi and Bob Makihara are two delinquents who arrive at Toudou Academy with the objective of ruling over the school with their strength. But on their first day, they encountered the Jyuukenbu, a martial arts group of the school. Members of the group, Maya Natsume, her sister Aya, and Masataka Takayanagi easily overpowered Souchirou and Bob. And what’s more, due to what was assumed to be their “connections” with the Jyuukenbu, the two were attacked by members of the Enforcement Group, which oversees the martial arts groups of the school. Drawn into the personal conflicts between the Jyuukenbu and the Enforcement Group, Souchirou and Bob have no choice but to join up with Maya Natsume’s group and to hone their skills to become even stronger.

Plot Summary:In the year 220X, the world has advanced toward radio-wave technology, and the world is connected through the Wave Road. On Rika's birthday, as the other Tamers plan a surprise party for her, a train Digimon, Locomon, Bio-Emerges into the real world. Even Renamon can't make Rika break his control, causing Rika to lash out at her and Takato. Discovering that it was Parasimon who was responsible for opening the gate and bringing Locomon to Earth, Guilmon Digivolves into Gallantmon Crimson Mode and defeats him, restoring Rika. However, swarms of Parasimon begin to emerge from the gateway, but after a long, tough battle, Justimon and Beelzemon are able to defeat them. Free from Parasimon's control, Locomon is returned to the Digital World with the same intention as before, and the Tamers throw Rika her party.
